With the over saturated Chinese hospitality market offering the same old fried rice and sweet and sour, over the last decade there's been a food revolution happening across the country. People want genuine, authentic, high quality Chinese food - Biang street Food is one of these game changing restaurants. Offering traditional Xi'an style hand-pulled Biang Biang noodles with an array of delicious toppings and small bites, they are true comfort food royalty.
They approached me to run and create their instagram content, and grow it from nothing. Without the restaurant open yet, we managed to gain 300 followers within the first month, with the restaurant set to open in October.  This was my first job on social media for a client, so I've been really pleased with how its gone. I have however recently stopped posting for them as he's decided to focus on growing the restaurant itself, rather than their online presence.
The images I created were composed using the colour scheme set by Biang, along with their photography from the first food shoot. I decided to go for an interchanging tiled effect which is quite striking, mostly revolving around the central bowls of noodles and rounded type
As well as social media, I was asked to do some web design work for their first website which hasn't yet been published. For the website I made sure I followed the brand guidelines they provided which included colour palette and font styles, but added my own touches such as a clean feel which aesthetically is both attractive and easy to read and look at.
